Dyfed-Powys Police are currently searching for a 57 year old male who is currently wanted in regards to an attempted murder investigation. Dyfed-Powys Police describe James McKenna as a British white Male who is 5ft 7in tall, bald with white facial hair.

A woman who is currently in a stable condition in hospital following a tragic incident in Carmarthen Park in Carmarthenshire on 29/01/2026. During the times 15:00hours and 16:00hours.
The woman suffered multiple stab wounds during this vital attack where Dyfed-Powys Police had said that officers were called to the park regarding allegations involving an assault.
Dyfed-Powys Police has now released information regarding James on his whereabouts. Dyfed-Powys Police believe that James McKenna may have connections to Ireland.
Det Ch Supt Ross Evans from Dyfed-Powys Police said that the force was "doing everything possible to locate James and bring the incident to a swift conclusion".
Det Ch Supt Ross Evans from Dyfed-Powys Police also released a statement online to James McKenna if he has seen this statement.
"To James, if you see this message I encourage you to make yourself known to us at the earliest opportunity so that this matter can be resolved swiftly."
